From the heart of the USA to the vibrant shores of Central America and the historic coasts of Europe, my journey has always circled back to the sea.
This enduring connection with the ocean has shaped my experiences and passions, guiding me through diverse cultures and landscapes.
Born and raised amidst the rolling hills of the Ozarks, I grew up with a profound appreciation for honesty, loyalty, and hard work. My childhood was marked by adventures. I was often found riding tractors and dirt bikes and an occasional unsuspecting mule. Weekends were filled with the simple joys of skipping rocks, tipping cows with cousins, and savoring family BBQs. These experiences, deeply rooted in the land, have left me with a lasting sense of gratitude.
A pivotal moment in my life came from an unexpected source—a pirate who was 40 years too late—whose spirit ignited my love for the sea, even while I was landlocked. This newfound passion led me first to a bass boat, where long nights of fishing became a cherished escape. My journey continued as I lived aboard a Carver for over a year, finding tranquility on the water even through the coldest winters.
My quest for maritime adventure eventually took me to Central America. There, I gained a profound appreciation for my origins and what I could become, learning to value the simple pleasures of life and the richness of diverse cultures. The journey then carried me to Europe, where I fully realized why the sea feels like home—a constant, inspiring presence that has shaped my path.
Each chapter of this journey has deepened my connection to the sea and enriched my understanding of myself and the world. As I continue to explore new horizons, I remain grateful for the lessons learned and the endless beauty that the sea brings into my life.

Evan is a seasoned sailor and yacht delivery specialist with a diverse background that spans continents and industries.
Hailing from Springfield, MO, I began my career in an unconventional way, starting as a bartender in the quaint village of Pedasi, Panama. It was in this small town that I launched a mapping company, which marked the beginning of a dynamic career trajectory.
After demonstrating exceptional skills in business and public speaking, I transitioned into real estate, selling condos and speaking at trade shows. This period of success in the real estate sector was followed by a personal and professional shift as I returned to the U.S. with a newfound passion for sailing.
Determined to master the art of sailing, I purchased a 26ft Columbia and began an intensive study of yachting. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I focused on theoretical knowledge and gained hands-on experience by sailing the Mediterranean on a Lagoon 40, earning the ISSA (International Sailing Schools Association) license in the process.
My international sailing experience also includes delivering a Lagoon 44 from Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau, working with a charter company in the US Virgin Islands on a 47ft Fountaine Pajot, and navigating the Abacos islands in the Bahamas on a Leopard 39. Most recently, sailing extensively in Greece on both Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 44 yachts, and also gained experience with a Caver 41 owned by my family on Table Rock Lake in Missouri.

I have a strong preference for working on boats ranging from 40 to 80 feet, as this size perfectly suits my experience and aspirations. With a 50GT license and a goal to soon achieve my 100GT license, I am enthusiastic about expanding my knowledge and skills in the maritime industry.
I am particularly interested in positions where I can be mentored and learn from experienced professionals. Whether as a deckhand on a larger vessel or in a more hands-on role, my primary objective is to ensure I am learning the right way and making meaningful progress in my career.
